Pop-rock band Sister Hazel will perform on Saturday, March 9 at 9pm in the Event Pavilion. Tickets are on sale now! Combining elements of acoustic rock, folk and jangle pop, Sister Hazel formed in 1993 in Gainesville, Fla. The five-member band released their debut album in 1994 before moving to a major label for their second album, 1997’s Somewhere More Familiar. The album’s “All for You” topped the adult alternative charts and propelled the album to platinum status. The band toured heavily and released their third album, Fortress, with the popular single “Change Your Mind.” Their seventh studio album, 2009’s Release, reached the top 50 on the Billboard Album Charts. Heartland Highway followed in 2010. The band tours regularly, doing around 100 tour stops annually.
